Do you deal with the whole process?
From your initial enquiry everything is dealt with in house, we will remove and dispose of your old garage, supply all relevant paperwork and then help you choose the finer details of your new garage directly with the manufacturer.
What is the lead time on a new garage?
General lead time is around 6-8 weeks from order to install, all garages are made to order to your personal specification. Around a week before install if we required we will arrange the removal of your old garage and ensure everything is ready for the install team.
Do i need to pay a deposit?
For simple roof removals and replacement we do not take deposits. For new garages, as this is a custom order a 30% deposit is payable at the point of order with the balance due 7 days prior to install or on the day of the old garage removal.
Do i need planning permission for a new garage?
Prefab garages in England and Wales built under 30m2 (approximately 5.56m x 5.61m) can be erected under permitted development rights therefore do NOT require planning consent under most circumstances. There are exceptions such as listed buildings, properties in conservation areas etc. Contact us for full details.
Will a prefab garage add value to my property?
Prefab garages can add value to a property wheras a shed will not. Garages are considered in a valuation in the same way extra bedrooms and bathrooms are.
How much do concrete garages cost.
How long is a piece of string? A simple very small concrete shed that does not require a new base or any prior demolition works can cost as little as £1000, whereas an all singing all dancing top of the range Elite double garage can cost in excess of £10,000. There are so many factors that affect the price so it is worth chatting with the team to get a specific quotation.
How long do the garages take to build?
All sections are pre built in the factory ready for install. The physical install is actually very quick and your new garage would be fully built within half a day.
What is the life span of a concrete garage?
The more you look after your garage the longer it will last, with general annual maintenance there is no reason why your new garage would not last in excess of 50 years.
